MCQST PhD Pizza Seminars
The idea behind this seminar is “From PhDs, for PhDs.” We want to create a space not just for discussing the big-picture science, but also for diving into the technical details of our work—those conversations that usually only happen in the hallway.
Everyday challenges in the lab—whether analyzing data, running simulations, developing a theory or model—probably aren’t unique to you. Chances are someone else has faced the same problem and can share a helpful tip.
This seminar is all about connecting the MCQST community and learning from each other. We’ll cover everything from lab tours to simulation frameworks to best practices for storing and organizing measurement data. Each session will have a theme, starting with a brief introduction and then opening up for detailed discussions. Some sessions will focus on linking theory and experiment, while others will dive deep into a specific environment, like tips and tricks for building an optical setup.
