About the awards

The MCQST Master's Award honors outstanding Master's theses (theory and experiment) from the MCQST community. The prize highlights outstanding master research projects, with the intention of inspiring awardees to pursue a further career in science.

The MCQST PhD Award honors outstanding PhD theses from the MCQST community. The prize recognizes excellence in research at an early career stage, with the intention of inspiring awardees to pursue a further career in science.

The ceremony

The award ceremony will take place following the special colloquium dedicated to supervision: "MCQST Colloquium: Gitte Wichmann-Hansen". The winners are invited to present a brief overview of their work to the MCQST community.
