Transition Phase Support Program: From PhD to Postdoc
MCQST offers financial support for up to 6 months for PhD graduates during the transition from their doctoral studies to their first postdoc position.
How to Apply
Send the following documents as a single PDF file to support[at]mcqst.de
- CV and complete list of publications
- Certificates (high school, bachelor's, master's, PhD)
- Project plan: a description of the research project you would like to work on during this period
- Two letters of recommendation: one letter from your PhD supervisor, and one letter from an external expert you have worked with
Applications can be handed in any time of the year but need to be approved by the Executive Committee (EC), which meets every two to three months.
Due to limited funds, program eligibility is limited to PhD graduates from MCQST Associated PIs only.
