Inclusive Leadership
with Hanna Völkle
Description
Fostering and navigating diversity are key aspects of effective leadership. Inclusive Leadership is a relationship-oriented leadership approach built on proactivity, fairness, and empathy. It recognizes diversity as a strength and helps leaders create environments where different perspectives are valued, innovation can flourish, and a respectful, future-ready organizational culture can thrive.
The Inclusive Leadership Workshop invites participants to reflect on their own leadership attitudes and behaviors related to diversity and inclusion. Through awareness of unconscious biases and reflection on personal leadership practices, participants learn how to foster collaboration, fairness, and belonging within their teams. The workshop encourages critical reflection on stereotypes and habitual thinking patterns — in oneself and within one’s organization — and supports the development of inclusive communication and leadership skills.
The session combines theory with practical application through interactive methods such as short inputs, case examples, videos, small-group discussions, and plenary exchanges. The program emphasizes experiential learning, dialogue, and peer exchange.
Workshop goals
- Increase awareness of unconscious biases and their impact on collaboration
- Develop an inclusive leadership mindset and diversity-sensitive practices
- Reflect on one’s own leadership role and communication style
- Strengthen respectful, empathetic, and forward-looking team culture
